JOSH JONES

Josh “J.J.” Jones was born and raised on the southwest side of Houston, Texas, and is a proud graduate of Westbury High School’s Class of 2001. At just 17 years old, he became the youngest professional athlete in Westbury history, signing his first professional baseball contract with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
Jones played professionally as an outfielder in the Angels, Cincinnati Reds, and Florida Marlins organizations. Following his baseball career, he pursued an international professional basketball career, competing in over eight countries and earning Import of the Year honors in Qatar
